Senior Portraits in Burlington, Vermont

"Traditional" senior portraiture can be boring; why limit yourself to the studio? Let's go outside and find a place that means something to you. In the Burlington area we have a great variety of parks, farms, and urban landscapes. Let's use the ones that fit your personality. Your senior portraits are more than the photo that shows up in your yearbook. They're the framed photographs you hang on your wall, the profile photo for your Facebook or Twitter account, & the photograph you send to college admissions. Check out a few examples of what we can do together.

How does this work?

We'll get together for a few hours and make some photographs. I generally find that about two hours works, but we'll schedule what works best to get you the shots you want. You have unlimited outfit changes or locations. I encourage you to bring a friend, sibling, or parent as company and to assist you in looking your best.

When we're done for the day, I'll head home and edit down the photos to a managable number. I'll post these on a website for you to share with your family and friends. At this point, I'll also provide you photos to use on your Facebook page.

What should I wear?

In short, wear what makes you feel good! If you feel good in your clothes, it will come through in the photos. Some general tips: Wear solid colors, or at least avoid small stripes and patterns. Bring a few styles of clothing so we can get some dressy and casual shots. You want to be clean before your shoot, but don't shower just before we get together; be sure to give your hair enough time to dry.
